I bow my head in salute to him—..Words fall short to express the deep pain and sorrow I feel at the sudden and untimely demise of my elder brother Santosh Kumar Ray.

The Heritage Group has lost a true frontline leader. He was bold yet balanced, aggressive yet disciplined—someone who always aimed to achieve goals while safeguarding the larger mission. Like a seasoned batsman, he knew when to strike big and when to protect his wicket, ensuring stability for the entire team.

He was result-oriented, strategic, and exceptionally confident. Confidentiality and trust were among his greatest strengths.He used to say what his left hand doing is not known to even his right hand. He had solutions for every challenge and carried immense respect for the CEO Sir and the honourable members of KBT, earning equal respect in return.His rare ability to recognize people’s strengths and utilize them in the best possible way made him an extraordinary leader.

Two years ago, when I was facing a tsunami of challenges in my own life, he stood firmly behind me like a rock. He quietly arranged every possible help and support that the situation demanded. That was the man he was—strong in leadership, gentle in humanity.

Above all, his greatest asset was his humanitarian approach. He always stood by his colleagues, especially in tough times, offering guidance, courage, and unwavering support.

His absence has left a void that will be difficult to fill. He will live on in my memories—not just as a leader, but as a compassionate human being who touched many lives.

मैं उन्हें नमन करता हूँ—श्री संतोष कुमार राय के अचानक और असामयिक निधन से उत्पन्न पीड़ा और दुःख को शब्दों में व्यक्त करना अत्यंत कठिन है।

हेरिटेज ग्रुप ने एक सच्चे अग्रिम पंक्ति के नेता को खो दिया है। वे साहसी होने के साथ-साथ संतुलित भी थे—आक्रामक किंतु अनुशासित। वे हमेशा लक्ष्य प्राप्ति पर केंद्रित रहते थे, परंतु संगठन की स्थिरता और मूल्यों से कभी समझौता नहीं करते थे। एक अनुभवी बल्लेबाज़ की तरह, उन्हें पता था कि कब बड़ा शॉट खेलना है और कब अपनी विकेट सुरक्षित रखनी है।

वे परिणामोन्मुख, रणनीतिक और आत्मविश्वास से भरपूर नेता थे। गोपनीयता और विश्वास उनकी सबसे बड़ी ताकतों में से एक थी। वो अक्सर कहा करते थे उनका लेफ्ट हाथ क्या करता है दाएं हाथ को भी पता नहीं चल पाता! हर समस्या का समाधान उनके पास होता था। वे सीईओ sir एवं केबीटी के सभी माननीय सदस्यों के प्रति गहरा सम्मान रखते थे और बदले में सभी का अपार सम्मान उन्हें प्राप्त था। लोगों की क्षमता पहचान कर उन्हें सही दिशा में उपयोग करना उनकी एक दुर्लभ विशेषता थी।

दो वर्ष पूर्व, जब मैं अपने जीवन में कठिनाइयों के एक सैलाब से गुजर रहा था, तब श्री संतोष कुमार राय चट्टान की तरह मेरे पीछे खड़े रहे। उस समय जो भी सहायता आवश्यक थी, उन्होंने  चुपचाप सुनिश्चित की। यही उनका स्वभाव था—नेतृत्व में दृढ़, और मानवीयता में अत्यंत कोमल।

सबसे बड़ी बात यह कि उनका दृष्टिकोण पूर्णतः मानवीय था। वे विशेष रूप से कठिन समय में अपने सहकर्मियों के साथ मजबूती से खड़े रहते थे, उन्हें मार्गदर्शन, साहस और संबल प्रदान करते थे।

उनका जाना एक ऐसा रिक्त स्थान छोड़ गया है जिसे भर पाना आसान नहीं होगा। वे सदैव हमारी स्मृतियों में जीवित रहेंगे—न केवल एक महान नेता के रूप में, और बड़े भाई के रूप मे!!
